Return & Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please review our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.
Returns for Ready-Made Lamps
We have a 14-day return policy for ready-made lamps purchased on our website, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- In the same condition that you received it
- Unworn, unused, and not damaged
- In its original packaging
- Returned with all included components (cords, shades, bulbs, hardware, etc.)
- Accompanied by a receipt or other proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom lamps and personalized pieces
- Sale items
Additionally, returns will not be accepted for:
- Damage caused by misuse
- Modifications made by the customer
- Damage resulting from improper installation
Order Cancellations
Orders of ready-made products may be canceled within 2 hours of purchase. After two hours, your order may already be internally processed and may not be eligible for cancellation.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@bottlelampmarketplace.com.
Custom and personalized orders may be canceled only until work on the item has begun. Once production has started, custom and personalized items can no longer be canceled or refunded.
If a customer ships us a bottle or other materials to be used in a custom lamp and cancels the order before work begins, any costs associated with shipping the item back to the customer will be the customer’s responsibility and may be charged to the original payment method.
Unclaimed or Abandoned Customer Materials
If a customer cancels a custom order before work begins and is responsible for return shipping costs for customer-supplied materials, payment for those shipping costs must be successfully collected before the materials can be returned.
Due to space, handling, and liability considerations, we are not able to store customer-supplied materials indefinitely and are not responsible for ongoing storage once an order has been canceled and return shipping has been requested.
If the original payment method is declined, the customer refuses to provide an alternative payment method, ceases communication with us, or if we are otherwise unable to collect payment for the return shipping costs, we will hold the customer’s materials for up to 30 days from the date we notify the customer of the required payment.
If payment is not received within this 30-day period, the materials will be deemed abandoned. Upon abandonment, The Wine Bottle Lamp LLC will assume full ownership and title to the materials and may use, repurpose, or dispose of them at its sole discretion, without further obligation to the customer.
This policy applies to all customer-supplied materials regardless of their perceived or actual value.
Damages, Defects, and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if:
- Your item is defective
- Your item arrives damaged
- You receive the wrong item
Items that arrive damaged or defective may be eligible for repair or replacement.
Claims must be made within 14 days of delivery by contacting sales@bottlelampmarketplace.com.
Please include clear photos of the damage or defect so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@bottlelampmarketplace.com and include your order number and reason for the return.
If your return is approved, you will be provided with instructions on how and where to send your item.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know whether your refund has been approved.
If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- Refunds will be processed within 10 business days
Please note:
- Partial refunds may apply if items are returned damaged, missing parts, or not in original condition
- It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund

Orders Lost in Transit
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, title and risk of loss pass to the customer. We are not responsible for orders that are lost, delayed, or stolen after shipment or after delivery has been marked as complete by the carrier.
If your order is lost in transit, we recommend that you contact the shipping carrier directly to initiate a claim or investigation, as the carrier is responsible for delivery once the package is in their possession.
Please note that many of our products are one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces, and in many cases cannot be replaced, even if a customer is willing to place an additional order.
If you believe your order has been lost in transit, you may contact us at sales@bottlelampmarketplace.com, and we will make reasonable efforts to assist you, such as providing shipment details or supporting documentation. However, we do not guarantee replacement, refund, or reimbursement for orders lost in transit, and any assistance we provide is offered at our sole discretion.
European Union (EU) Orders
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you may be entitled to additional rights under EU consumer protection laws, including a 14-day “cooling-off” period for eligible items.

- Customers are responsible for return shipping, customs duties, and taxes unless otherwise required by law
